The German R/V Meteor, a Bundesamt fur Seeschif fahrt und Hydrographie sponsored ship, provided automated weather observations taken every hour during some cruises and averaged once a minute on other cruises. The DVS and IMMT automated weather systems were located at the center of the vessel. The variables available are:
