NSCAT Movies on the World Wide Web
To view these movies on a Mac or
a UNIX workstation, we
recommend the MoviePlayer application (NOT the
workstation plug-in).
You will also need to change the settings menu
for your viewer program to "Show Every Frame" (In MediaPlayer and MoviePlayer, this is the last option
under the 'View' menu).
For viewing on a PC with Windows 95 we
recommend InterVU.
To test your setup, please download the following small test movie
test.mpg.
You may also download the 1° resolution gridded
wind data and half
degree resolution
stress data
from our website. You can also find out how we
created the gridded wind
data.
A Generalized Cross Validation product for the Indian Ocean region is also available.
Tools for translating our NetCDF data files to ASCII grids are
available.
We have also put together some movies that we feel best demonstrate what we're doing. They can be
accessed by clicking on our Favorite movies.
