I am a 20-something native Texan, born in Dallas, raised in Colorado. After about eight years, I ended up back in Texas. This time I landed in Austin, the heart of Central Texas.

I graduated high school in 2006 and went on to earn my undergraduate degree in three years from Texas A&M University in College Station. I graduated from A&M in the spring of 2009 summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics.

During my undergraduate career, I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society as well as Phi Kappa Phi Honor society. I became involved in volunteering, where I was able to assist in organizing and operating the annual state Special Olympics. While at Texas A&M, I conducted undergraduate research, convincing me that graduate school was the next logical choice for my educational career. Which brings me to where I am today.

I am currently a graduate student at Florida State University in the Atmospheric Sciences, working as a research assistant for my co-advisors, Dr. Mark Bourassa and Dr. Carol Anne Clayson. I am also an active member of both the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the American Geophysical Union (AGU).
