Getting Around Tallahassee

* Airport to Cabot Lodge:
From airport exits turn left onto Capital Circle. At the first light the road appears to end (you must turn either left or right); turn left to continue on Capital Circle. After several more lights the road will widen into 2 lanes each way (divided) and you will come to the I-10 interchange. Turn to the right and go east on I-10. At the next interchange (Exit 199), turn south onto Monroe St. (US 27). The Cabot Lodge will be located on your left approximately two (short) blocks from I-10 just beyond the Chevron station.

* Cabot Lodge to Meeting:
Take Monroe St. (US 27) south towards downtown Tallahassee. To avoid downtown, turn right at light onto Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Blvd. Follow MLK until you cross Tharpe St. (few blocks) and take the curve to the left to get on Bronough (most traffic will take this route). Follow Bronough south for ~1.5 miles and turn right on Gaines St. [If you miss MLK, you can continue on N.Monroe until you reach 7th Ave or you can turn onto Gaines St. two blocks past the (very tall) Capitol Building.] Heading west on Gaines you will go through several lights and eventually see the FSU football stadium ahead on your right, watch carefully to turn left onto Lake Bradford Rd. After a few lights (you pass under a railroad crossing) turn right onto Levy Ave and follow it until it ends. Turn left onto East Paul Dirac Dr and make the first left onto Pottsdamer St. Follow Pottsdamer around the curve to the left and turn right into the parking lot for the Seminole Golf Course. You will see the Clubhouse on the right of Pottsdamer as you approach the driveway. The meeting room is 23A on the second floor.

* Cabot Lodge to COAPS
Take Monroe St. (US 27) south towards downtown Tallahassee. The Johnson Building (location of COAPS) will be the second building on the right. Park anywhere that is not reserved (no permit is required). COAPS is on the second floor of the Johnson Building.

* I-10 to COAPS:
To get to us from I-10, take the last (first) exit from the east (west) to Tallahassee, i.e. exit 196. From the exit ramp, proceed south on Capital Circle. You might see signs directing traffic to the airport - that is a good sign. On Capital Circle you will pass through a few large intersections, namely US 90 (locally named Tennessee St) and then Florida HGWY 20 (local name Pensacola St). About 1 mile beyond HGWY 20, you will come to a light. This is the intersection of Capital Circle and Orange Avenue. Proceed straight through this light and travel east on Orange Ave for about 1 mile. Turn left into Innovation Park (there is a sculpture and sign which are difficult to miss) via Paul Dirac Dr. Enjoy this stretch of curved roads and trees. At the first intersection, turn right onto E. Dirac Dr. Proceed a short distance and enter the second parking entry-way on the right. At the end of the drive, turn left; the Johnson Building (you can't miss it, the name is in large letters over the primary entry) is on your immediate left, golf course is on the right. Park anywhere as permits are not required. Enter building through main doors and go up stairs and enter the COAPS suite.

* Meeting to Airport:
Turn right out of the Seminole Golf Course onto Pottsdamer St. Follow Pottsdamer south until it ends. Turn right onto Orange Ave and head east for about 1 mile. Turn left, before a bend in Orange Ave, onto Lake Bradford Rd and follow it to Capital Circle SW. Turn right onto Capital Circle and proceed west. The airport will be on your left.
