QSCAT Drifting Buoy Collocations

Estimated Delay: not available. Various aspects of the data transfer are being tested to better estimate the delay.

Good wind-data for QuikSCAT validation have been received from 21 of the drifting buoys in the East Sea (off Korea) since the start of deployment in July, and there are still 12 more drifters to be deployed (as of 18 Oct. 1999).
