The
NOAA-WHOI Project was a pilot study for future IMET deployments on
volunteer observing ships. The RVSMDC applied quality control
procedures to the IMET observations from 1997 and 1998 for the R/V
Roger Revelle and the NOAA Research Vessel Ronald H. Brown. A final
report on the project: "
Plan for a VOS-IMET Delayed Mode Data Center at the Florida
State Universtiy" is available.
