Model

• The NARR project¹⁵ stemmed from the NCEP/NCAR Global Reanalysis (no affiliation with the 20^th Century Reanalysis V2 study mentioned in the Colonial section) and has two major differences. The NARR project confines the boundary of interest to North America instead of the entire world, and outputs data to a 32–km grid, a higher resolution than the 180–km grid used by the NCEP/NCAR GR. Unfortunately, NARR data date back only to 1979 but are more accurate than the NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis project for the dates given
